Project Summary:

The GS4F project aims to empower young people—particularly those with fewer opportunities—by equipping them with essential green skills and digital competencies that support sustainable development. Through targeted training, innovative digital resources, and collaborative activities, the project strengthens environmental awareness, promotes climate advocacy, and enhances youth engagement in sustainability initiatives, fully aligning with EU priorities for green and digital transitions.


Objectives

  • Equip youth with green and digital skills necessary for active participation in climate action and sustainable innovation.

  • Support young people with fewer opportunities by providing accessible tools and resources that foster environmental literacy.

  • Promote youth empowerment through training, collaboration, and digital engagement.

  • Contribute to EU strategies on sustainability, digital transformation, and youth participation.


Activities

The project consists of the following key activities:

  • Transnational Project Meetings to ensure effective coordination and partnership collaboration.

  • Virtual Learning Hub offering accessible digital learning resources.

  • Green Minds – Digital Educational Material supporting environmental and digital skill-building.

  • Green Horizons Digital Handbook, providing structured knowledge and practical guidance on sustainability.

  • Sustainability Catalyst – Pilot testing of the digital learning experience.

  • Green Futures Training Workshop – Virtual Hackathon, encouraging youth-driven innovation and creativity.

  • Greenovation Days in Poland, Greece, and the Netherlands to disseminate results and engage communities.


Impact

The GS4F project is expected to deliver the following key outcomes:

  • Enhanced environmental and digital awareness among participating youth and communities.

  • Improved green and digital skills, enabling young people to contribute to the green economy and digital sustainability solutions.

  • Creation of innovative educational resources, including the Green Minds Digital Educational Material and the Green Horizons Digital Handbook.
